Pastor Vince GonzalesA brief Biography
Pastor Vince Gonzales was born and raised in San Antonio, TX
. Upon graduation from High School, he entered into the University of North Texas, where he visited the Denton Bible Church. He came to know the Lord as his personal savior during a sermon preached by Tom Nelson. It was soon after that sermon that “Tommy” invited Vincent to enter his Tuesday morning discipleship group.
Upon completion of College he entered Dallas Theological Seminary where he graduated in 1992 with a ThM in Pastoral Leadership While in seminary, he met wife Rhoda, They now have two boys, Ariel 17 years old and Pablo 13 years old. Rhoda serves a pianist, singer and worship leader in the church today. She also mentors women and serves in ministry to other pastors wives. While completing seminary Vincent was recruited by Dr. Tony Evans to serve on the internship program while completing his ThM. Immediately upon graduation Vince was offered a staff position with the Urban Alternative and served as a conference coordinator and urban church consultant for 8 years After several years of working in the Hispanic community of North Dallas, he and a few families began the North Dallas Family Church, a bilingual bible teaching congregation committed to reaching the racial diverse population of North Dallas. North Dallas Family Church is currently meeting in the Fellowship Hall of Royal Haven Baptist Church while they are praying to soon own their own building. With God’s blessings upon them they are committed to complete the good work God has called them to do in the families God is bringing to them.
